February Half term Activities in Guernsey
Limited Spaces available
Our holiday clubs are available from 8.30 am to 5.15 pm. After welcoming everyone at around 9 am we have a language lesson, usually French or other languages such as Italian, Spanish, German, and more.
At 10 am we offer a snack that we provide or sometimes we even baked with the children! Then is time to go out to the parks (Cambridge park or Candie Gardens) or the beach at Havelet (depending on the tide).
Sometimes we visit also Castle Cornet or Candie Museum. We are usually back by 12.15 pm and at 12.30 pm the children who stay only for the morning sessions are collected. We then have lunch all together (children bring their packed lunch) and at 1.30 pm other children get collected.
We then go out again and are back for 4/4.15pm. In between outings, we also work on art & craft projects, we bake, we play games, we organize structured activities and we let the children have some time for free play. There are plenty of games, toys and books available in our club room.
We also have a water fountain in the room so children have access to water at all times and can replenish their water bottles.
Our leaders have all undergone an Enhanced DBS Check as well as the appropriate training, such as Safeguarding, Prevent, Child and Infant First Aid Course and Food Safety.
For this term we will offer extra activities:
-Professional Pizza making with an Italian Chef
-Visit from Paws for Support
-Skate lesson
-Children’s guided tour in St Peter Port
-And our own Carnival Party!
