Course Overview

Aside from forming the second largest economy in the world, Japan is renowned for its unique culture which blends the modern and the traditional. Learning Japanese will open your eyes to Japanese film, animations, comic books, martial arts, cuisine and more. Japanese uses a different system of writing than English and other European languages and so is seen as challenging, but actually the grammar is arguably a lot more straightforward, as it only has two verb tenses and the nouns do not have genders, plural forms or articles.
