DELF – DALF French Language Diplomas for Adults and Children in Guernsey

New to Accent Language School starting in September 2016, the DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française), an official French certification for life!

The DELF, Prim, Junior and Adult is recognised around the world and often required by French employers and educational institutions.

The six independent levels are developed to test a student’s ability to communicate and correspond to the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

DELF is designed to evaluate and test four language skills:

  • Listening
  • Reading
  • Speaking
  • Writing

DELF – Prim

DELP Prim is an exam for children from 7 to 12 years.

The examinations consist of 4 tests of reading, speaking, writing and listening. They are made for children of this age and offer topics adapted to their interests.

Accent Language School will be teaching DELF for children and will prepare them for the level A2.

Classes will be 2 lessons per week of 45 minutes.

DELF – Junior

The DELF Junior is also adapted to teenagers’ interests and lifestyle.

DELF Junior assesses 12-17 years’ students at four levels (A1, A2, B1, B2)

Classes will be 1 hour lessons, twice per week and Accent Language School will prepare the students to level A2 and B2 as these are the most in demand from employers and universities.

DELF – Adults

The same concept again but designed for adults.

Classes will be 2 lessons per week of 1.5 hours.

As you can see, from the DELF Prim to the DELF Adult, the format is the same and students get prepared from an early age!
