A specific language course for future Caen students

We are pleased to announce French for Law, an extensive, purpose-built course designed for busy solicitors and legal professionals preparing to become students at Caen University.

This course will start from Monday January 7th – 5.30pm to 7.30pm – and will run for 20 weeks.

The course takes into account:

• Current language level
• The University of Caen’s legal curriculum
• French university teaching methods
• Exam format

We will create a learning atmosphere with a structure that is interesting and enjoyable, whilst being as intensive as possible in order to prepare you fully for your Caen training. The content of our 40-hour extensive course is tailored to your specific needs and contains a balance of:

• Structured grammar
• Specific legal vocabulary
• Reading current affairs in French
• Reading of specific law articles in French
• Reading of French legal material
• Oral communication in French (depending on students starting level)
• Feedback on homework

There will be homework given each week and a minimum of 2 hours per week of self-studying should be anticipated.

The cost for the course is set at £2,000 per participant.

Optional: conversational class on Saturday mornings (£16.50 per person min. 3 people)
