Guernsey Global Community celebrating Oktoberfest in style
Great night celebrating Oktoberfest at The Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club
This months Guernsey Global Community event was all about the beer!
Oktoberfest in Munich is a 16/18 day folk festival running from late September to early October to celebrate food, beer and the culture of Bavaria.
It was thus appropriate for the Guernsey Global Community to recreate their own Oktoberfest celebrations here in Guernsey.
The German themed evening proved very popular with lots of new faces and great conversations all round.

The Guernsey Global Community is all about bringing people together from all nations and all cultures creating a diverse and culturally rich group of people for socializing, friendships and networking.
Our monthly meet ups are usually themed to a add a bit of a cultural feeling to the evening.
