Language Dinner Club

As mentioned in our previous blog – learning a foreign language and keeping active is very hard. While there are ways to practice a foreign language when not in a full immersion situation (such as living in that particular country), we have perhaps chosen the most sociable way of practicing!

Our brand-new Language Dinners Club started last Friday with French; and it was definitely a success – we enjoyed each other’s company and spoke only French for the whole evening (well almost always…! :-)

From beginners to advanced we had all levels of fluency around the table – it was lovely to see everyone making a real effort to stay in the language – so well done to all!

We are looking forward to the next one in a few weeks time, this time in German!

These events are free for all to come along: current and past students or simply for those who want to practice the language.

The dinners provide opportunities for an evening of food, culture, and conversation, whether you are a fluent speaker in the evening language or just beginning to learn and whatever your background is!
