NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!

These Interactive whiteboards have been discovered to be incredibly effective in improving the learning and interaction within the class room environment and staff meetings (tried and tested myself at our last)!
Using Interactive whiteboards have proven to improve learning, increase class participation and strengthen the relationship amongst students and the student/ teacher relationship, encouraging getting involved in discussions and asking questions!
We are all too aware that everyone is different and we all learn in different ways the main 4 ways are:
Visual: You learn well when aided by images, pictures, and spatial organisation of elements
Auditory: You learn well when aided by music, sound, rhyme, rhythm, speaking or listening
Reading/Writing: You learn well by reading or writing the material you want to learn
Kinesthetic: You learn well when you can move your body, and/or use your hands and sense of touch. Writing or drawing diagrams are physical activities that can fall into this category as well.
Which is way the Interactive whiteboard is so valued in the classroom! It gives students the opportunity to retain the information in multiple formats.
One of the many advantages and wonders of this interactive whiteboard, note the key word here “interactive” is that the images can be printed and saved freeing up all that note taking we had to do in class to look over for revision before technology was available to us and instead to allow this time to be used participating and enjoying all the information presented!
The interactive whiteboard has features where not only the teacher can show prepared information but students to can take control and show work being done allowing students to be more a part of the process!
