Saturday Accent Cultural Classes

We are excited to announce our Saturday Cultural Classes for children who want to learn more about the culture of other countries. Cultural classes for children aged 3+ with lots of different language options such as French, Spanish, German, Italian and/or Mandarin.

Marcel Proust the great French novelist, best known for his 3000 page masterpiece À la recherche du temps perdu (Remembrance of Things Past or In Search of Lost Time) recognised that people from different cultures working together learn more about the world, cultivate ideas and prosper as a result.

This is why it is important for children to develop a deeper knowledge of global awareness and understanding of other cultures.

Cultural Classes for Bilingual Children

We run cultural classes just for bilingual children where the only spoken words are in French and the classes are geared towards French Culture, these classes are run by our French Teacher Nathalie.

Giving Children knowledge of different Cultures

The idea of the Culture classes is to combine language learning with a better understanding of the cultures from those countries, so we maybe discovering different foods, history, famous people, historical places and more.

Learning the language while discovering the Country gives children the feeling of being in touch with the country, more connected.

Learning about Cities & Iconic Monuments in Europe

Children will also learn about the extraordinary cities from their country of origin and the significant cities across Europe. Discovering the iconic Grand Canal of Venice, The Colesseum of Rome, the Eiffel Tower in the beautiful city of Paris and Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain and lots more.

Understanding where these Countries are, what they offer and discovering a little of the rich history in Countries such as Venice. How was Venice built? and why?

Learn Italian through Music and Song

For the children who love music and singing we have a very special singing teacher that runs Italian singing and music classes.

Saturday fun during the Summer Holidays

Our Saturday classes will include lots of fun options and will continue throughout the summer holidays.
