Terms and Conditions

Accent Language School

  1. Payment must be made in full for all language tuition prior to commencement of any course, at least 24 hours before the due start – discounts apply only if full payment prior to the course has been received
  2. Private and semi-private students – 24 hours’ notice is required when cancelling/postponing a lesson or full charge will apply
  3. Group lesson students – no refund is available on group classes.
  4. We may take photos and/or videos for the website or printed materials.  Please advise us if you do not wish for us to do this for you or your child.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons 

  1. Administration fees are non-refundable, assessment fees are non-refundable
  2. Written assessment will be discounted from course fee once student signs up to course
  3. Discounts are applicable only if amount is paid in full 1 week prior to start date
  4. If the course is cancelled one week or less before the start date is due there will be a 50% cancellation fee applicable on the total of the course
  5. Lessons can be rescheduled with minimum 24-hour notice or will be charged in full
  6. There is a charge of £5 per lesson for home tuition, when we send the teacher to your house or office
  7. Written pre-assessment is mandatory for levels higher than beginner
  8. if lessons have to be moved online due to force majeur (pandemic, floods, snow or other natural disaster preventing face to face lessons), students who do not wish to join the online sessions will not be refunded.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons 

  1. Registration fees are non-refundable
  2. No enrolment or course will be confirmed until all students have paid the applicable fees.
  3. If a student withdraws one week or less before the start date of the course there will be a 50% cancellation fee applicable on the total of the course
  4. Group lessons are on a fixed date and time and no refund is available for missed lessons because of other commitments, illness, holidays or else.
  5. In the event of Accent cancelling a course, students will be refunded in full within 5 days
  6. if lessons have to be moved online due to force majeur (pandemic, floods, snow or other natural disaster preventing face to face lessons), students who do not wish to join the online sessions will not be refunded.
